If you are between 15 and 24 years, live in Edinburgh, and have extra support needs because of
- physical disability
- learning difficulty
- sensory impairment
… you could think of applying for a befriender
A befriender is someone who
- will spend time with you so you get to know and trust one another
- will give you emotional and social support if you need it
- will help you grow in confidence
- will enable you to get involved in the wider community
You will be able to go out together to do the things you want to do: shopping, bowling, pictures, eating out and so on.
